My wife and I are first time "juicers" and this machine works perfectly. We are now enjoying fresh juice from carrots, apples, celery, pears, you name it, we have drunk the juice! The only downside is the price of the fruit these days, we had to cut down our juicing to 4 days a week, that's all we can afford.

Well named, the best attribute of the Oxo Good Grips Vegetable brush is its rubber grip, which is oval shaped with a rounded top, and fits near perfectly in the palm of your hand, allowing you to get a rock solid grip, and effectively apply cleaning force. The bristles are short, (0.6 inches), and of moderate stiffness, so when you scrub, there is some give, but not a lot, and with a palm sized brush, you know exactly where the bristles are. The rubber grip remains easy to hold, even when wet. The brush is a little pricey, but it is very well designed, and feels great in your hand. It does a very good job of cleaning vegetables, and at other general cleaning tasks.
Unless the product has been redesigned, the brush pictured does not appear to be current version of the Good Grips Vegetable brush. ...

I absolutely love this slicer - I made the best gratin I have ever had! Potatoes were all perfectly symmetrical. The blade on this was unbelievably sharp - I know there are multiple cautionary reviews, but even they were not enough to protect my right thumb. Even with the kitchen wound, I love love love this slicer.

I highly recommend this version over the fully plastic one (though the plastic still works). This is SOOO easy. You cut the top of the pineapple flat, and just start turning with this tool... I would suspect even a person with arthritis in their hands would find it easy. Pulls the whole pineapple out, perfectly sliced, great presentation, no quirks. I've seen this identical product for twice the price in stores (which is why I hadn't owned one yet) but at this price point is worth EVERY DOLLAR - seriously. Before this tool I NEVER bought whole pineapples, now I can't wait to see them in the produce isle!

I have not used it yet, but it looks great. My only concern is that the video on the Amazon.com website says that it can be cleaned in the dishwasher, but the instructions that came with it says hand wash only. Who do I believe? Well, it's going in the dishwasher because that's the reason I bought it. If it dies, I can always returned it, as I used it according to the instructions given by Amazon.com. :)

I have owned mine for 3 months and have used it almost daily. If I am not making fresh juice, I am making a smoothie every day for my health. I really like it, even though it is heavy and the safety locking mechanisms make it seem cumbersome when comparing it to my friend's more stream-lined Vita-Mix. I bought it because I am out of work and could not afford a Vita-Mix, and this one does all the Vita-Mix can do at half the cost. It is very safe to use and extremely easy to clean if you are just preparing plant-based products in it. After a smoothie, I usually do just a quick rinse with water without removing the bottom, and there has been no build-up of anything in 3 months of use!
