Blenders

A hand blender is a baton-shaped kitchen tool powered by a motor and with a set of blades on one end. These blades mix, blend, whip, emulsify, chop, crush and grind function as that of a regular blender, a do-it-all kitchen gadget.

Nothing replaces an electric mixer for aerating cake mixtures and meringues, but a hand blender with a chopping blade will let you puree anything directly on the pan, even while you cook, or prepare a quick mayonnaise.
