This thermometer works great. You do need to sync the transmitter and reciever each time but there is nothing to it. I remove the batterys after each use and when you put them in the next time all you do is push the reset buttons. It reads the same as my manuel thermometer and the range seems to be just fine for me. I can be out playing horseshoes or visiting with guests and it always has been in range. I prefer to use my on temp settings as the pre programmed ones seem to make things a little done.

I love Lodge. I own several pieces of their cast iron cookware. I am astounded that they would market a brush of such poor quality. I was careful with it, yet got 4 uses from it before it fell apart. This product is in no way worthy of the excellent name of Lodge.

New Kenmore grill and already getting frustrated over the laborious process of cleaning and forget about sticking parts in the dishwasher as you are told at Sears.
Well I grilled some chicken breasts and purchased this item and did not clean it for a few days until the Grill Daddy Pro arrived. (disgusting yes I know) but I guessed this was the ultimate test with old hardened grease on parts and bottom.
No need for instructions, common sense does it, heat up grill pour water in and go at it. This grill brush cleaned the my Kenmore grill well beyond expectations, and I noticed there was no abrasive scarring of finish on bottom of grill and sides ended up almost like new.

This is an awesome deal for no tax and free shipping! I got four of these for the men in my family for a Christmas present. The case is a simple plastic case but the tools are well made and very sturdy. A great buy!

I used an earlier Vacu Vin marinator for some years, until it eventually cracked. These are wonderful units for doing a quick marinade of meats and vegetables. I pickle cucumbers and Grabanzo beans and I also do meats in it. This new unit is considerably bigger and appears sturdier. It uses the same simple rubber wine cork type pump down system which is easy to clean.
Two things - First, don't overpump. It's not necessary and may promote cracking. Second, Lexan is hygroscopic at elevated temperatures which means it will absorb moisture which may eventually embrittle it and cause cracking, so I don't recommend using the dishwasher. It's easy enough to hand wash.

Got these to deal with the Thanksgiving turkey. For years it's been a battle, me vs. turkey. Using napkins, towels, forks, etc. trying to hold the bird to carve it was a real test. Not to mention getting it out of the roaster! With these, I just picked up the bird, put it on the cutting board, and when the time came, secured the bird while carving perfectly. Best carve I've ever done. Can't wait to pull some pork with these on New Years Day. One thing though, and the reason for 4 stars. The insides of the gloves, if they get wet, take forever to dry! Are you not supposed to get the insides wet???

This was an excellent purchase for the money but you get what you pay for. It takes a while for the screen to display the temperature of the food. It has a cheep feel to it. If you have the money purchase and instant read food thermometer and a seperate fork. But again for the money it does what it is supposed to do, that is why I gave it 4 stars. it also does display in F and C. Every Griller should have a food thermometer, it helps immensly when trying to make sure poultry is safe to eat and so you don't overcook meat.

We bought the GGR50B to use for infrequent grilling of steaks and burgers. The unit is very well made and assembled very easily. We recommend following the instructions when grilling steaks - do not flip them frequently. They grille better if you leave them on each side longer than you would on a gas grille.
The heat distribution is very good, allowing even cooking on the majority of the surface.
It is a bit inconvenient to remove the entire cooking surface for cleaning since it is fairly large and cumbersome to clean. The cooking surface DOES clean easily, it's just kind of bulky to fit into the kitchen sink to clean it.
