This peeler has a comfortable grip, slices thinly enough that you are not wasting vegetable, and even has a notcher to remove potato eyes! Very happy with my purchase.
Baker's Secret 10-by-16-Inch Nonstick Cooling Rack, Set of 2
Amazon Price: .99
Average Customer Rating: 4.5
Review (rating: 5):
There were a few reviews saying you cannot put them in the oven, but I put them in the oven weekly.
They work great for cooling racks and work great for any item you put in the oven that you don't want to waste time turning over half-way through.
I put the rack on a cookie sheet and use them to cook fish, chicken nuggets, tater tots, etc. and it cooks on both sides evenly.

Remember, in a power outage, the manual can opener still works, heh. And they are quieter. This one is so much better than the cheap types I've subjected myself to in the past. This one opens cans when I squeeze and turn the finger-friendly handle - that's all I wanted, and that's what I got. Stainless and easy to clean. It looks nice enough to hang up. Very satisfied.

Review (rating: 5):
My daughter requested a "red can opener" for Christmas this past year. Since Amazon buyers are always so very consistent to honestly review products purchased, Amazon's website was my first stop. I looked over all they featured and the West Bend 77204 was my pick due to the high ratings prior buyers gave it in regards to price, style, and performance. Well, I'm happy to report I "did good". This is a direct quote from my daughter..."I LOVE it and it is a really quality can opener."

This is a better deal than electric can openers.
Black & Decker KEC600 Cordless Can Opener, White
Amazon Price: .68
Average Customer Rating: 3.5
Review (rating: 5):
I needed an electric can opener because the arthritis in my hands has made it difficult to use a manual can opener and I didn't want another big appliance cluttering my counter top. This can opener has a small footprint. It is cordless and sits in a charging base. Perfect. It cleanly removes the lid, and catches it with a magnetic arm, unlike my manual which always left the lid hanging by a little bit of the metal. Easy to use and nice looking.
One-Touch Automatic Can Opener - White (29101)
Average Customer Rating: 2.5
Review (rating: 5):
I was referred to this product by someone who shares my problems with arthritis in my hands. Using usual kitchen appliances can be quite painful. This product does the whole job merely by sitting it on the can and pressing a button. As an added benefit, it opens from the side instead of the top, which leaves a smooth edge which is not sharp enough to cut skin. I love the freedom it has given me and certainly recommend it to others with hand problems.

Review (rating: 5):
The Black & Decker "Lids Off Jar Opener" JW200 is an excellent product.
The one that we recently purchase is to be given as a Christmas gift. We have personally owned and used a "Lids Off" model JW200 for several years now and have not encountered a screw on jar lid that it could not remove.
It is most simple to use: Assuming that the unit is plugged in - Simply raise the upper part of the unit, set the jar in place, lower the upper part onto the jar and push the go button. No other magic tools required, no red-faced exertion and no X-rated language or thoughts necessary. It would be most valuable to anyone who may have a physical handicap or simply does not have the strength necessary to grip and open jars by hand.
Interestingly, When we decided that we wanted to give one of these products as a gift, we were unab...
