Now, it is time for something good.
Healthy Eating
Tender yet crunchy, and with a sweet flavor, French beans are in season. They are versatile and there is a recipe to satisfy every taste.
Melons are the genuine fruits of the summer. Oval or perfectly round, unblemished skin, wrinkled or rough, one thing is true: all the varieties have a juicy, sweet, very aromatic flesh.
Seasonal Eating
Where there is smoke, there is fire. During the summer, this fire is likely to come from a barbecue. Although we promise to include more articles for those of you who don't own a grill -as someone asked- for those who do, there is frugal grilling. The frugal grill is cheap and healthy.
Food Naturally Line
Summer came and the winners to our seasonal recipe contest "Complement Your Barbecue" were chosen. We invite you this month to meet Melinda and try her recipe for Carolina's rocking red sauce was chosen as the second runner up. She also gifted us robusta Italian style compound butter with which is probably as delicious, only it arrived too late to enter the competition.
The summer competition is closed and we will publish the other runner up and the winning recipes in the following issues. Now the question is... Will you pass the family traditions? We ask this question and we announce the topic for the autumn competition.
For the autumn season, we are asking you to select a special recipe the one you would pass to the next generation. That recipe you have taught your children how to make – or you would teach them, if you had children.
The summer contest closed and the winners were selected. Even if the weather was not on our side, we enjoyed a truly flavorful barbecue, if a touch wet.
