When looking for an elegant dessert which is easy to make during the summertime, nothing beats ice cream. To make it healthier, let us make it fruit and ice cream, so we introduce some ideas to serve them together.

Ideas to Serve Ice Cream For Dessert

If you are a novice in dessert making, try ice cream. It is easy to prepare very attractive and appetizing desserts with ice cream. Mix different flavors and colors, drizzle with your choice of syrup, sprinkle some sweet decoration on top and you cannot go wrong. Place two scoops of vanilla ice cream in an individual cup, add 1 scoop caramel and drizzle caramel sauce on top, just like that you have an outstanding dessert.

Ice cream for dessert, on its own or on the side of other ingredients,  is the perfect finish for a  summer dinner. Nothing more refreshing, it will prove a favourite for both kids and adults. We offer you some ideas to get your creative juices flowing.

Caramelized Melon and Ice Cream

1-2 tsp brown sugar
1-2 tsp butter

Heat the butter in a pan and add the sugar. It will start to melt. Add the slice of melon and cook 2 minutes on each side. Transfer to a plate and place the ice cream in the middle. Serve.

Alternatively, sauté the melon in the butter, transfer to a plate, sprinkle sugar on top and caramelize using a crème brulèe torch.

Tip – Try this with a slice of pineapple, peeled, sliced peaches or apples.
