Carolina's Rocking Red Sauce

  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 12 Tbs Heinz ketchup
  • 12 Tbs soy sauce
  • 4 Tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 3 tsp minced fresh garlic
  • 1 tsp cumin
Methods/steps
  1. In a 13x9” baking dish add oil, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, pepper, garlic and cumin whisk well.
  2. Add the London broil or any beef or chicken, pork or fish to the mixture using a fork poke many holes in roast and continue to roll on both sides until completely covered.
  3. Now cover the meat with plastic wrap and refrigerate for around 4 hours; however, overnight is best. Be sure to turn every so often to marinate both sides.
  4. Place meat on a hot grill and grill as usual.
Additional Tips
Veredict: flavorful and deliciously sweet, still with some zing. This marinade will appeal to people who does not relish hot sauces, definitively a winner.
