Chicken Lasagna
Ingredients
- package lasagna noodles
- 2 jars of pre-made alfredo sauce (store bought or your own)
- 1 lb ricotta cheese
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese
- 2 bell peppers
- 1/2 lb boneless chicken
- 5 cloves garlic, pressed or finely chopped
- salt
- pepper
- italian seasoning, dried
- parmesan cheese
Methods/steps
- Thinly coat a large baking pan with non-stick cooking spray, or unsalted butter.
- 2 Cut the chicken into small, bite sized pieces and cook with 3 of the finely chopped cloves of garlic.
- 3 salt and pepper to taste
- 4 following the manufacturers directions, cook and drain lasagna noodles. Separate and allow to cool.
- dice the green peppers.
- 6 In a medium sized bowl, combine the Ricotta, mozzarella, pepper and remaining garlic. Use the Italian seasoning to taste.
- 7 heat oven to 350°F.
- 8 Layer your lasagna, starting with the sauce and then alternating between the lasagna noodles, cheese mixture and chicken. Ending with the pasta sauce and topping with Parmesan cheese.
- 9 bake for 40-50 minutes. Allow the lasagna to settle before serving
