Chicken Lasagna

Description This is an easy lasagna with a white sauce. Kids love it!

  • package lasagna noodles
  • 2 jars of pre-made alfredo sauce (store bought or your own)
  • 1 lb ricotta cheese
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1/2 lb boneless chicken
  • 5 cloves garlic, pressed or finely chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • italian seasoning, dried
  • parmesan cheese
Methods/steps
  1. Thinly coat a large baking pan with non-stick cooking spray, or unsalted butter.
  2. 2 Cut the chicken into small, bite sized pieces and cook with 3 of the finely chopped cloves of garlic.
  3. 3 salt and pepper to taste
  4. 4 following the manufacturers directions, cook and drain lasagna noodles. Separate and allow to cool.
  5. dice the green peppers.
  6. 6 In a medium sized bowl, combine the Ricotta, mozzarella, pepper and remaining garlic. Use the Italian seasoning to taste.
  7. 7 heat oven to 350°F.
  8. 8 Layer your lasagna, starting with the sauce and then alternating between the lasagna noodles, cheese mixture and chicken. Ending with the pasta sauce and topping with Parmesan cheese.
  9. 9 bake for 40-50 minutes. Allow the lasagna to settle before serving
