Espresso Brownies
Description To make brownies surpassing even your grandmother's, try this one.

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1½ stick butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or 4 oz chopped
  • semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 Tbs finely ground dark roast coffee
Methods/steps
1 Heat a cup of sugar, a quarter teaspoon of salt, and a stick and a half of butter in a sauce pan. Add a teaspoon of vanilla and four ounces of chopped, semi-sweet chocolate and stir until well melted. Now add a tablespoon of your favorite finely ground dark-roast.
2 Stir until everything is well mixed, then transfer to a mixing bowl and let cool for a few minutes.
3 While still warm, fold in three eggs, a cup of flour and pour the result into a baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes and set out to cool. Yum!
4 Heat sugar, salt, and butter in a sauce pan. Add vanilla and the chopped chocolate; stir until well melted. Now add your favorite dark-roast.
5 Stir until everything is well mixed, then transfer to a mixing bowl and let cool for a few minutes.
6 While still warm, fold in the eggs and flour until mixed. Pour the result into a baking pan.
7 Bake for 30 minutes and set out to cool. Cut into squares and enjoy. Yum!
