Pineapple Salsa

Description Fruit of the tropic the pineapple is. As such it makes the pork meat to take on the Caribbean flavor.

  • 1/4 small pineapple, peeled cored, cut into 3/8 inch dices (1 1/4 cup)
  • 1 small barely ripe banana, peeled and cut into 3/8 inch dice
  • 1/2 cup seedless green grapes, halved
  • 1/2 firm avocado, peeled and cut into 3/8 inch dice
  • 4 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1 jalapeno Chile, stemmed, seeded and minced
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh oregano leaves
  • Salt
Methods/steps

Combine all ingredients, salt to taste. Allow to sit at room temp for 30 minutes. Serve along side pork loin chops.
