Frozen treats for the summer

Chill with frozen treats, cool as ice.
You can use other fruit like coconut, peaches and berries too.
Your kids will never suspect there’s anything like spinach in there and they’ll ask for this treat over and over, so be sure to have plenty of the ingredients on hand throughout the summer.
Frozen Fruit Cups
What you need to make frozen fruit cups
- 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, with juice
- 1/4 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- 3 bananas, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
How to prepare frozen fruit cups
In a large bowl, stir together the sour cream, lemon juice, sugar and salt until blended. Fold in the pineapple, cherries, bananas and pecans. Pour into paper lined muffin tins. Freeze until set, then transfer to re-sealable freezer bags for storage.
Makes: 18 fruit cups
